Composite Materials vis-a-vis Mercury/Amalgam Fillings

The use of mercury in silver-coloured amalgam fillings (which contain silver, mercury, copper, and tin) is highly controversial. We take our patients' health seriously, so we use state of the art white composite resins currently available on the market. They are not only more attractive and natural-looking but also much safer. Since composites have been in use for over thirty years, dental professionals consider these the safest alternative.

We recommend this conservative method of treatment because it is natural-looking, relatively inexpensive, easily repaired (if at all necessary), fast and effective, and frequently covered by insurance companies. Clearly, we aim not only to meet but also surpass our patients' health, economic, and aesthetic needs.

Before After
96 year old lady came into our office presented with two broken
teeth on the lower jaw. Subsequently, we restored them with a simple
and conservative approach by the use of composite fillings and retentive
pins. The result was fantastic, and the lady was so happy!
